  1. Who is Streetside and how long have they been in business?

    Streetside Development Corporation is a multi-family division of the Qualico Group of Companies in Calgary since 1988. The Qualico Group of Companies has been in business for over 50 years and is the largest privately owned residential developer-builder-operator in Western Canada.   2. Does Streetside only build in Calgary?

    The majority of our communities are constructed in the City of Calgary. However, Streetside is currently selling Penncross in Crystal Green in Okotoks. In 2004, Streetside completed Turnbury, a townhome community in Crystal Shores, Okotoks. In 1998 Streetside completed Stone Creek Chalets, a 42-unit townhome community in the Fernie Alpine Mountain Resort. More information about these projects is available in Past Projects.

  3. Is there a warranty on my new condo?

    Streetside communities are registered with either the Alberta New Home Warranty Program or the National New Home Warranty Program. Further information about Customer Service and these warranty programs is available in the Customer Service section of this site or from the project sales team.

  4. Do I have to arrange our mortgage through Streetside?

    No. Streetside can recommend preferred lenders for specific communities with one or more reputable Canadian financial institutions. Further information about mortgages, if required, is available from the project sales team.

  5. Can I purchase a Streetside condo as an investment?

    Condos purchased as an investment through Streetside Development Corporation are limited in quantity per person. Investors are required to provide a minimum 10 per cent down payment with their firm contract and are subject to 5 per cent GST (government rebates are available).
